The inverted crescent called "NAJA" by the Navajo Native Americans is very popular and found in various design forms as a pendant along with a squash blossom design fabricated in turquoise and silver. The naja dates back further to Moorish design and was originally a forehead pendant on horse bridles.
What goes around comes around...today I have placed it as a horn pendant on this very easy to wear necklace. Although lightweight, it commands an aura of strength. Just see how many compliments you get!!
