I can't remember a time when I didn't wake each morning wondering what I was going to create that day. For many years, this thought has taken me through wonderful journeys with many different disciplines in the visual and performing arts.
While raising my young family, I was a ceramicist for Ethan Allen Galleries, followed by a thirty-year career as a professional interior designer. While running the business, I was teaching at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Not limiting my creativity to design, I became a classical pianist, opened a cooking school and even today create beautiful textiles on my seven knitting machines. These experiences greatly helped me develop a keen eye and sense of design.
I am strongly influenced by Italian design and the yearly trips I take with my Italian native-born husband. I cannot imagine a single day without creativity.
