I can't remember a time when I didn't wake each morning wondering what I was going to create that day. For many years, this thought has taken me through wonderful journeys with many different disciplines in the visual and performing arts.
While raising my young family, I was a ceramicist for Ethan Allen Galleries, followed by a thirty year career as a professional interior designer. During that time, I also taught at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. These experiences greatly helped me develop a keen eye and design sense that has appealed to many people.
My Italian native-born husband and I take yearly trips to Italy. These visits have immersed me in the arts and culture of that country. The influence of Italian design has helped me to develop an even bolder sense of style and sophistication in my own designs. When I am not creating jewelry, you may find me playing piano, painting, developing recipes for my cooking classes or designing textiles on my 7 knitting machines.
