Marquis shaped Montana agate dance around this spirited necklace along with faceted cut glass and copper spheres. Montana agate is a gemstone found in the Yellowstone Park region as a result of volcanic events millions of years ago. The orange coloration is from iron and manganese deposits and is often referred to as "rainbow iridescence." I am especially attracted to the way these deposits have formed little works of art within each "marquis".
Details: 14" from the back of neck to the tip of longest middle "marquis"
